My family traveled from LA looking for nature, tranquility and a touch of luxury, and Celeste’s home delivered! This house was everything we were hoping for: ocean views, complete privacy and serenity, close to tide pools/trails/restaurants and everything Shelter Cove offers. But most important was the peace and comfort Celeste and her home offers. It truly felt like staying in a beloved family vacation home: details are so well thought out at every turn, with artistic northern California flair, and premium comfort. It’s like a beach house meets a cabin-in-the-woods. Beds were VERY comfortable, kitchen was perfectly stocked (the views are so gorgeous, we ended up cooking a lot!). We got to relax and unwind while surrounded by jaw-dropping beauty – we almost didn’t need to leave the house! The deck is an incredible spot for morning coffee and evening wine, and the hammock is the perfect spot for a book in the afternoon sun. The gardens surrounding the house are so stunning, I am stealing ideas for my own garden. We felt at home – very different than some sterile airbnbs “flips” we’ve rented before. Celeste was an incredible host and everything was easy and carefree. We are counting the minutes until we come back!
